Agiculture + Wildlife
Our rural and semi-rural projects acknowledge the relationship among agricultural land practices, wildlife habitat and human habitation. Through robust community partnerships and in-kind and monetary match contributions, the federal funds we’ve garnered have offered beneficial impact over the long term.
Thank you to the communities of El Guique, Ohkay Owingeh and La Resolana, as well as USDA/NRCS EQIP and USFWS Partners for Wildlife programs, for allowing these projects to thrive.
This 300-gallon residential grey water tank and a separate rainwater harvesting tank provide primary sources of irrigation for 200+ native trees and shrubs that grow along slopes at the La Resolana Partners project.
